Experiencias #ErasmusPlus
Thanks to the #ErasmusPlus KA131 – HED, I did a job shadowing at Prometna šola Maribor, in Maribor, Slovene, from October 23rd to October 27th, 2023. I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the educational environment of this school, which offers three programs: Logistics, Safety and Security, and Electronic Communications. Upon completion of any of these four-year programs, Slovenian students can either enter the job market or continue their education at the tertiary level. The school also provides accommodation for 500 students who reside far from Maribor.
During my time in Prometna šola Maribor, I participated in various activities. I attended classes, observing lessons in English, Slovene, Physics, Safety and Security, and visited all the school installations. Additionally, I had the chance to present Granada and Spain in some classes. We also held two meetings where we compared the Slovenian and Spanish educational systems, discussing educational programs and methods of vocational and professional guidance.
Moreover, I had the opportunity to visit potential employers such as Arhides d.o.o and Mavi d.o.o. Interestingly, two of our students are currently undertaking internships at a company in Maribor and they appear to be quite satisfied with their experience. Besides, two Slovenian teachers have recently visited our school for a job shadowing experience. Thanks to the good cooperation between I.E.S “Francisco Ayala” and Prometna šola Maribor school, there will be more mobilities in the future.
